Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Kyppo (kyppo.app). Kyppo is provided by VEXTR AB, a Swedish limited company (aktiebolag) ("we"). The legal entity behind the service is VEXTR AB — see vextr.co. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you use Kyppo on behalf of a company, you also accept them on its behalf.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • Your account details must be correct, and you keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens from your account.
  • Tell us as soon as possible if you think someone else has accessed your account.

2. Plans and payment

  • Free costs nothing, within the limits shown on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans (such as Solo and Team) are paid in advance monthly or yearly via Stripe. Team is billed per user. Enterprise is agreed separately.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Billing. Your plan then runs until the end of the period you have paid for; started periods are not refunded unless the law says otherwise.
  • Prices: current prices, and whether VAT is included, are shown on the pricing page and at checkout with Stripe.
  • We give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affects you. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. When you start a paid subscription you ask for access straight away; if you withdraw within 14 days, you only pay for the time you had access.
  • If a payment fails, we may move the account to Free after notice. Your content stays.

3. Your content

You own what you put into Kyppo. You give us the right to store, process and display it, only to run the service and do what you ask, such as sharing with the people you invite.

You confirm that you are allowed to upload the content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Kyppo to:

  • upload illegal content or infringe others’ rights,
  • send spam or unwanted invitations,
  • try to access data or accounts you do not have access to,
  • overload, attack or get around limits in the service (for example with bots or automated sign-ups),
  • resell the service without an agreement with us.

5. AI features

AI drafts and summaries are suggestions. They can be wrong or incomplete, so read them before you rely on them. You decide what is saved and are responsible for it. See the privacy policy for what data is sent to the AI provider.

6. Integrations

If you sign in with Google or GitLab, or connect Slack, their terms also apply to that part. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Kyppo stable and available, but we cannot promise it will always run without interruptions or errors. We keep developing Kyppo and may change or remove features. If we remove something significant from a paid plan, we will tell you in good time.

Keep your own copy of content that matters to you.

8. Cancellation and termination

You can stop and delete your account at any time under Profile. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or where needed for security or legal reasons. We will tell you first unless that is not possible.

9. Liability

We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These limits do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, and they do not limit any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days’ notice in the app or by email. If you keep using Kyppo after the change, the new terms apply; otherwise you can cancel.

11. Governing law and disputes

Governing law and venue are listed at vextr.co. As a consumer you always keep the rights you have under the rules of your country of residence, including the right to complain to a consumer complaints body and to bring a claim in your own country’s courts.
